How can one person move something far heavier than they could ever lift?
Wallace Wang · Updated 2026-09-14
This chapter is an outline for now. The book is written in public: the full text, stories and cases will be added to this page, at this same address.
The book opens with Archimedes. A person can move what they could never lift, not by becoming stronger, but by finding a long enough lever and placing the fulcrum in the right spot.
The chapter introduces the three ideas the whole book is built on: force (what you already have), leverage (the tool that amplifies it) and the fulcrum (the point that makes the lever work). Remove any one and nothing moves.
If leverage exists in the physical world, does it exist in the world of wealth?
This book is general education, not investment, tax or lending advice.
