Someone is pretending to be us
Fake accounts are using Wallace Wang's name and photo to message people about “investment opportunities.” It isn't us, and it isn't anyone on our team.
Three rules
If any of these don't hold, you're talking to a scammer
1|We never cold-message anyone about investing.
If that message shows up in your DMs, it is not from us.
2|We never handle your money.
Your funds move between accounts in your own name and the insurance company or bank — they never pass through us, and never into anyone's personal account. If someone asks you to e-transfer, wire, or send crypto to an individual, that is a scam. There is no exception to this, ever.
3|We will never ask for a banking password, a login, or a verification code.
No legitimate advisor will.
Not sure who you're talking to? Don't verify it inside that same chat — close it and call the number below. You will never annoy us by checking.
Official accounts
These are all of our accounts
Anything not on this list is not us. Our handles are not identical across platforms — check against this table rather than judging by whether a name looks right.
Every official account carries the line “Official accounts: wallacewang.ca/official” in its bio. An impersonator can fake one side of that; they cannot make both sides agree.
