The first chapter that ties the earlier ideas together. Property investors, entrepreneurs, private equity firms, large corporations and wealthy families often carry substantial debt. The number that tells you whether that is healthy is not debt on its own but assets minus liabilities, together with cash flow. The chapter introduces balance-sheet thinking.
